Internet access has become a part of our daily life and sometimes just cause you are away doesn’t mean you should be without. We had the pleasure of trying out internet access on the go and Techlife readers won’t be disappointed.

As much as I love the Internet, I recently took a week long trip where there wasn’t any cell phone or Internet access and it was one of the best weeks of my life. Sometimes it is important to put the toys away and enjoy the things in life that nature provides. Plug-out and recharge your own batteries!

@Charles - This advice is extremely valuable and often repeated. But I think being able to work remotely and take more advantage of location not being a factor means more vacations and fun, not less. It is a fine balance to be sure.
But 1 week a year unplugged or 5-10 weeks a year working from various locations on a workcation? A light load.
Also the technology is useful for better enjoying the area you are exploring.
Fine line indeed.
